Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, using our services, or entering into a residency agreement with CareHome, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CareHome.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services or website. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Our Services
CareHome provides senior living and care services, including but not limited to:
- Residential accommodation and housing services
- 24/7 medical care and health monitoring
- Meal preparation and dining services
- Personal care assistance
- Social activities and recreational programs
- Housekeeping and maintenance services
- Transportation services (where available)
Specific services included in your care plan will be detailed in your individual residency agreement.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for our services, residents must:
- Be at least 55 years of age (exceptions may apply)
- Complete a comprehensive health assessment
- Provide medical records and physician recommendations
- Demonstrate financial ability to pay for services
- Agree to follow community rules and policies
- Not pose a danger to themselves or others
We reserve the right to deny admission or terminate residency if these requirements are not met or maintained.
Payment Terms and Fees
Monthly Fees
- Monthly fees are due in advance by the first of each month
- Late payments may incur additional charges
- Fees are subject to annual increases with 60 days notice
- Additional services may incur extra charges
Security Deposit
- A security deposit equal to one month's fee is required
- Deposit will be refunded within 30 days of move-out
- Deductions may be made for damages or unpaid fees
Insurance and Medicare
We accept various insurance plans and assist with Medicare/Medicaid applications. However, residents are responsible for understanding their coverage and any out-of-pocket expenses.

Health and Safety Policies
Medical Care
- We provide 24/7 nursing supervision
- Residents must have a primary care physician
- Emergency medical care will be provided as needed
- Medication management services are available
Safety Measures
- Emergency call systems in all rooms
- Regular safety drills and training
- Secure building access
- Background checks for all staff
- Incident reporting procedures
Infectious Disease Protocols
We maintain strict protocols for preventing and managing infectious diseases, including isolation procedures, vaccination requirements, and visitor restrictions when necessary.
Termination of Services
Voluntary Termination
- 30 days written notice required
- Fees are non-refundable for the notice period
- Move-out must be completed by the end of notice period
Involuntary Termination
We may terminate services for the following reasons:
- Non-payment of fees
- Violation of community rules
- Behavior that endangers others
- Care needs exceed our capabilities
- Failure to meet admission requirements
We will provide reasonable notice and assistance with relocation when possible.
Liability and Insurance
CareHome maintains appropriate insurance coverage for our operations. However, residents are encouraged to maintain personal property insurance and understand the following limitations:
- We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property
- Residents assume risk for activities and outings
- Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law
- Residents should maintain health insurance coverage
Privacy and Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of your personal and health information in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Dispute Resolution
Grievance Procedure
- Discuss concerns with your care coordinator
- Submit written complaint to administration
- Formal review by management team
- Appeal to executive director if necessary
- External mediation if internal resolution fails
Legal Action
Any legal disputes will be governed by the laws of the state where our facility is located. Both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the state in which our facility is located, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
